I had started using Better Balance Feeds for approx. 3 months prior to taking my 4 year old Friesian Gelding, Isaac to his first Dressage show. Before that I had been using Morglo stabilized rice bran plus other mineral supplements. Since switching to Better Balance Feeds I've noticed a better body composition on both my Friesian & my Thoroughbred. They lost that puffy appearance and now show good muscle definition. Their coats are shiny and their stamina is good. Another side perk is Isaac is less gassy. Friesians are notorious for that. Sorry, but I thought it important to mention. I plan on doing musical free style with Isaac in the future, I want to pick the music. I don't want him to play his own tune. Back to his first show. He won first place with a score of 67.83 in Training Level Test 1. I was very proud of him. He just stayed focused and did his job. I'm glad I found Better Balance Feeds, I think it has helped give us a winning edge.

Dear DJ,

I am very grateful that you introduced me to Better Balance Feeds. I can remember working my Reining horse in preparation for competition and he just seemed lethargic about half way through our exercises, and I couldn't keep weight on him. I had tried a series of supplements since I've been riding him the past 4 -1/2 years (see attached ). None of which had results that I was satisfied with. Some would "Fatten" him up, others would make him too "Hot" and others simply had no bearing detectable and/or positive effects on him. I follow the philosophy that; "If you treat and feed them as champions, they will be champions".

When you explained to me what BBF could do, and knowing how hard we practice, I was a little skeptical, i.e.; something new, unheard of back in Indiana where I came from, and this could just be another gimmick. I'm happy to say, it IS NOT a gimmick! My 6 year old Reiner, "RB", is healthier now than he has ever been since I purchased him as a youngster. It makes no difference how hard we work, or compete, he still has a reserve of energy, good energy. He doesn't get "Hot" from the pellets, he is fit, solid as a rock, I have no trouble keeping weight on him from such stringent training, and his mind is still focused on his job, and... as a bonus, the farrier sees marked improvement in his feet. People ask me what I shampoo him with because his coat is so shiny.

As a side bar to my 6 year old, I'm training a 2 yr. old reining prospect. She is also being fed BBF, and I can also see positive results in her energy levels and growth in her training as well, besides the same comments on her coat and feet.

Thanks DJ for not giving me just a "Sales Pitch". What you bring to me in those simple white bags every month is worth every nickel I spend for BBF.

I breed, train, and show top level jumpers. All of my horses are Warmblood horses registered with the Studbook Zangersheide.
